The 29th Annual International Mounted Games Association World Pairs Championships are to be held at the Newark Showground (NG24 2NY) on Friday 17th to Sunday 19th September 2021
The competition will involve approximately Three hundred of the worlds most elite riders.
There will be World Pairs Titles achieved in four categories .
U12’s ,
U15’s,
U18’s
Open
Each age group will have 3 qualifying sessions followed by Semifinals for top 28 riders. Then the top 14 riders in each age group will compete in their own respective World Pairs Final.
Apart from prestigious IMGA World Pairs Title, winners will receive Awards of Trophies. Merchandise & Memorabilia , Gifts
The competition will take place over 3 days
Friday – Sessions 1 & 2
Saturday – Session 3, Semi Finals & lower finals
Sunday – all A Finals & remaining lower finals
Each pair will ride x 3 sessions of x 7 games.
Semi Finals x 8 games
A Finals x 10 games. Lower Finals x 8 games.
The competition will be run under four age groups
Under 12’s
Under 15’s
Under 18’s
Open
Each age group will be run to same format.

All Pairs who finish below the Semi Final will have their own respective finals. (they will need to declare their intention to ride in their final)
Riders in lower finals will receive rosettes.
Riders in Semi finals will receive rosettes and commemorative Shirts
Winners of Under 12’s World Pairs Final will receive , rosettes, sashes, jackets, commemorative shirts, rugs
Winners of Under 15’s World Pairs final will receive , rosettes, sashes, jackets, commemorative shirts, rugs
Winners of Under 18’s World Pairs final will receive , rosettes, sashes, jackets, commemorative shirts, rugs
Winners of Opens World Pairs final will receive , rosettes, sashes, jackets, commemorative shirts, rugs
